| FIRST - For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology Our mission: FIRST designs accessible, innovative programs to build self-confidence, knowledge and life skills while motivating young people to pursue opportunities in science, technology and engineering. Atlanta Hobby Robot Club The Atlanta Hobby Robot Club (AHRC) meets at the Pinckneyville Community Center. located at 4650 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, GA on the last Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM. Carnegie Mellon Robotics Club The Robotics Club is primarily an undergraduate organization. We build robots for fun. You may join an existing project or start a new project. Central Illinois Robotics Club The Central Illinois Robotics Club was founded in May of 1997 in an effort to promote, educate, explore, and compete in the field of hobby robotics. The club is located in the greater Peoria area and meets monthly. Connecticut Robotics Society "CRS" is an informal group of hobbyists, experimenters, and robot builders who meet monthly on the University of Hartford campus in West Hartford, Connecticut. Dallas Personal Robotics Group The Dallas Personal Robotics Group (DPRG), founded in June of 1984, is one of the nation's oldest special interest groups dedicated to the development and use of personal robotics. Duke University Robotics Club All-member meetings will be held once a month. Their main purpose will be to update everybody on what individual groups are doing and progress made on each project, to share ideas and lessons learned. Indiana University Robotics Club The IU Robotics Club caters to students of Indiana University but welcomes anyone interested. Meetings are usually announced over email. This club is part of the United Collegiate Robotics Club. Indianapolis Autonomous Robotics Club For robotics fans interested in designing and building self-guided robots for competition, education, or just for the fun of it. Mobile Autonomous Robot Society MARS UAH MARS is a UAH (University of Alabama in Huntsville) student organization. Our main purpose is (a) to foster a broad student interest and participation in student mobile robotics projects, (b) to design and build mobile robots., and (c) to assist students in learning about and developing skills in the design, construction, testing, and competing of mobile robots. Nashua Robot Club Nashua Robot Builders is a small, informal club of people who like to build mechanical contraptions, use computers, design electronics and do programming. PennBots - Robot Club of PA You no longer have to be a spectator. Build your own fighting robot and compete with other local ‘bots to be the toughest robot in Central PA. Portland Area Robotics Society - PARTS The Portland Area Robotics Society was formed to help those interested in learning about and building robots. It includes professionals, amateurs, students, college professors, engineers, artists, hobbyists, and tinkerers. PARTS members explore all aspects of robotics and work toward expanding communication between robot enthusiasts.
