Kornylak pioneered Palletflo urethane wheels for pallet racks, gravity conveyors and live storage systems. Palletflo urethane tires have a hysteresis property that puts the control in controlled gravity live storage racks. Palletflo's design, coupling gravity with hysteresis control, results in immediate and long term cost savings. Because gravity is the power source, there are no belts, chains or mechanical devices to maintain; and because the "magic" of elastomer hysteresis controls the flow, there are no brakes, electronics, pneumatics or controls that require attention or maintenance that is associated with other pallet racks. Palletflo installation is fast and easy and, with advanced planning, can be done while other operations continue. Once installed, Palletflo controlled gravity conveyors require no maintenance. The "Magic" of the Palletflo wheels are an elastomeric hysteresis urethane tire bonded to a heavy duty, corrosion resistant steel ball bearing wheel. Perfected after years of polymer development, the tire is composed of a high grade urethane polymer which is quiet, non-marring, resilient, energy absorbent and durable with high hysteresis properties. Standard Transwheels come with nylon rollers for heavy loads and reduced operational friction. The new urethane rollers are designed with traction in minded. If your robot needs to walk up a metal ramp, or across a tile or hard wood floor, the Cat-Trak Transwheel is what you need! Transwheels design has eight free-turning rollers that are spaced around the Transwheel periphery, now combine the movement of the rollers with the rotation of the wheel body and you have the ability to move loads in any direction. The double wheel comes with sixteen free-turning rollers offset from each other to provide a smother rotation.
